Gemini watermark remover

Remove the sparkle logo from images made with Google Gemini.

This Gemini watermark remover takes the small white sparkle logo off the bottom-right corner of images you generated with Google Gemini (also known as Nano Banana). It touches that corner and nothing else. Google also puts an invisible watermark called SynthID into these images, and this tool does not remove it, so the picture can still be identified as AI-made.

What it removes, and what stays

There are two marks on a Gemini image, and it helps to know which is which.

Mark Can you see it? Does this tool remove it?
Sparkle logo in the bottom-right corner Yes Yes
SynthID watermark No, it's hidden in the image No

We think leaving SynthID in place is a good thing. It means the image can still be checked as AI-generated after the visible logo is gone, which matters as AI pictures spread online. The tool is for tidying up the look of images you made yourself, for example so a sparkle doesn't sit on top of a design you're about to print. It is not a way to pass AI images off as photographs or human artwork.

How to remove the Gemini logo from an image

  1. Add your images. They can be JPG, PNG or WEBP, and you can add up to 30 at once.
  2. Pick a mode. "Automatic (only if a Gemini logo is found)" is the safe default. "Always clean the corner" processes the corner whether or not a logo is detected.
  3. Start the tool and download the result. One image downloads directly; several come back together in a ZIP.

If the tool doesn't find a Gemini logo in Automatic mode, it tells you instead of changing the image.

How the tool works

The Gemini sparkle isn't a solid sticker. It's a partly see-through white logo laid over the picture, so the original pixels are still there underneath, just lightened. The tool looks for the sparkle in the bottom-right corner. On normal images the logo is 48 pixels across; on images larger than 1024×1024 it's 96 pixels.

Once it finds the logo, it works out how transparent each part of the sparkle is and reverses that blend to recover the pixels underneath. Then it smooths the edge so the repaired patch sits naturally with the rest of the corner.

Your image keeps its size and its format. A PNG stays a PNG, and a 2048-pixel-wide picture stays 2048 pixels wide.

Which mode to choose

Automatic suits most people. It only changes an image when it's confident a Gemini logo is there, so you can drop in a mixed folder without worrying that other pictures will be altered. "Always clean the corner" is for images where you can see the sparkle but Automatic mode didn't detect it.

What results to expect

On plain or smooth backgrounds, like sky, a wall or a soft gradient, results are usually clean, and you'd have trouble telling where the logo was. On busy textures such as grass, gravel, fabric or fine patterns, a faint trace can remain if you zoom in. That's worth checking before you print something large.

Because the method relies on the sparkle being in its normal spot, it works best on images straight from Gemini. If you've already cropped the corner, resized the picture a lot or added your own edits on top of the logo, it may not find it.

Using AI images responsibly

Please use this tool only on images you generated yourself. Follow Google's terms of use for Gemini, and label AI images as AI-generated wherever your school, workplace, platform or local rules ask you to. A short note such as "image created with AI" in a caption or credit line is an easy way to do that, and it's a fair habit even where no one requires it.

Other tools for AI images

After cleaning the corner you might want to adjust the picture further. Resize image changes the dimensions for a slide or a social post. Image converter switches between JPG, PNG and WEBP if a site only accepts one of them. If you want to cut out the subject, Remove background gives you a transparent PNG.

Privacy

Your images are processed on our server and deleted as soon as the results are sent back. We don't keep them or share them, and we don't add any watermark or branding of our own. The tool runs in the browser on phones and computers, it's free, and there's no sign-up. Each upload can be up to 100 MB.

Frequently asked questions

Does this remove the SynthID watermark?

No. SynthID is Google's invisible watermark, and it stays in the image. Only the visible sparkle logo in the bottom-right corner is removed, so the image can still be identified as AI-made.

Is it free to remove the Gemini watermark?

Yes. The tool is free and doesn't need an account. You can process up to 30 images in one go.

Will the image look exactly like it did before the logo?

Usually it looks clean, especially on smooth backgrounds. On busy textures a faint trace can sometimes remain, so zoom in on the corner before you use the image for anything large.

Does it change the size or quality of my image?

The image keeps its original dimensions and format. Only the corner where the logo sat is changed.

What if my image has no Gemini logo?

In Automatic mode the tool checks first and tells you if it doesn't find the logo, leaving the image as it is. Use "Always clean the corner" only if you can see the sparkle and the check missed it.

Can I use this on someone else's AI images?

The tool is meant for images you generated yourself. Follow Google's terms for Gemini and label AI images where your platform or local rules require it.
